Who is this dinner for?

Off the Record is for senior enrollment and marketing leaders — typically VP-level and above — who are running programs worth talking about. Think vice presidents of enrollment, vice presidents of marketing, chief enrollment officers, and others who own enrollment and marketing outcomes at their institution.

How many people attend?

Each stop is limited to 10–12 guests. Small enough that everyone talks to everyone.

What happens during the dinner?

The evening starts with arrival drinks, then moves into dinner with a facilitated conversation led by a Halda executive. There are no presentations, product demos, or pitches. The discussion unfolds naturally among your peers.

How are guests selected?

We personally review every application and reach out before each dinner to confirm your spot. To the degree that we can, we prioritize a mix of institution types, sizes, and perspectives in each city. The goal is to create a space where the conversation is worth having. Submitting a request doesn't guarantee a seat, but it's the first step.

Where are the dinners held?

Each dinner is held in a private dining location at a carefully-chosen restaurant; no hotel ballrooms or conference spaces. Upcoming stops include Washington, DC, Pittsburgh, Boston, and Los Angeles. Confirmed guests receive venue details and timing once their spot is approved.
